TENDERS
The Code also requires that local authorities must publish details of every invitation to tender for contracts to provide goods and/or services with a value that exceeds £5,000.
For each invitation, the following details must be published:
- Reference number
- Title
- Description of the goods and/or services sought
- Start, end and review date

Title: Three year grass cutting contract 2025-2028
Description of goods and/or services sought – Worplesdon Parish Council invites tenders for the delivery of grass cutting of its public open spaces within the Parish. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing high-quality grounds maintenance across the Parish Council’s land holding.
Start, end and review date: This contract shall be in force for the period March 2025 – February 2028, with the possibility of a one-year extension unless terminated as hereinafter provided.
Interested parties should submit their tenders by 22 February 2025 at 5pm via post, addressed to the following address:

Late submissions will not be considered.

Description of goods and/or services sought – Worplesdon Parish Council invites tenders for the delivery, installation and removal of Christmas illuminations and Christmas trees at public open spaces within the parish. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing high-quality festive decorations and services to enhance the Christmas experience for residents and visitors.
Start, end and review date: This contract shall be in force for the period November 2025 – January 2028, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
