To ensure minimum disruption to service, residents are being advised to check the changes to their collection day.  Changes begin on 25 December (Christmas Day) and last until 4 January.

Please check what can be placed in recycling, especially at this time of year.  For example, you can only put wrapping paper and Christmas cards into your recycling bin if they are paper or card.  Glitter covered and non-paper gift wraps that are made from foil-based paper, cannot be recycled.  That type of paper should be put in your general, black rubbish bin.  If residents are unsure about what they can recycle,  please check on Guildford Borough Council’s website:
