Harry's Meadow, Jacobs Well (behind the village hall)This year's Remembrance Service is taking place in Harry's Meadow. The new commemorative bench is to be unveiled as part of the ceremony. All are welcome to attend. Alexander Dennis are bringing their 1914 vintage fire engine. Poppies will be laid for each of the 52 Worplesdon men who lost their lives due to the Great War.
Remembrance Sunday – Commemorative Church Service – St Mary’s Church, Worplesdon
A joint commemorative Church Service is taking place at St Mary's Church, Worplesdon to commemorate the centenary of the end of WW1. The service commences at 6pm. All are welcome. The bells will be rung at 7pm as part of the 'Nation's Tribute - A Battle's Over' commemorations.

Harry's Meadow, Jacobs Well (behind the village hall)A Beacon lighting event is being held in Harry's Meadow as part of the commemorations marking the centenary of the end of WW1 'The Nation's Tribute - A Battle's Over' starting at 6.45pm. Poppies will be laid in memory of all those who fell in the Great War. All are welcome!
