On  15 August 2020, VJ DAY 75,  flowers  were  laid  at  the  memorial  bench  in  Harry’s  Meadow  in  commemoration  of  all  those  who  fought  in  the  Far  East  during   WW2.  We  remember, with gratitude,  the tremendous  sacrifice  made  by  so  many for our  freedom.
